I received this petition in an email this morning....

As a rule, I don’t pass along these “add your name” lists that appear in emails, BUT this one is a bit different.

It has been circulating for months and has been sent to over 300 million people. We don’t want to lose any names on the list so just hit forward and send on.

Please keep it going!

To show your support for Obama’s health care reform, please go to the end of the list and add your name.

1. Nancy Pelosi

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

You have to give them credit for cleverly disguising themselves as the Japanese.

No, although burying this thing is going to take time and effort.

Chin up!

If it can be passed by reconciliation... it can be repealed by the same.

Everyone thought it was over with NJ and VA elections. It wasn’t. Then came MASS and Brown - it still wasn’t over.

Based on that, one would think this battle will go on forever (in some ways it will) but really if reconciliation is defeated now, I really believe Obama becomes a lame-duck.

This is the deciding battle.

People nationwide must flood the phonebanks of their Reps (the Senate's probably a lost cause) and remind them that if it can happen to Marsha Coakley it can happen to *them*!!!!

It’s a done deal, and has been a done deal since it passed the House about 8 months ago. I was called an idiot and Chicken Little back then, but actions have proven me right.

We will have health care reform. And it will be permanent. Congress - if it goes to the GOP - will not have enough votes to override the Presidential veto to keep it in place. We can only truly eliminate it in 2014 when a new President may be sworn into office. Of course, the plan is fully in action and operating before that happens...

This is a done deal, and it will be permanently in place. Best to start figuring out how to work the system and exist within it. It’s not fatalism, it’s realism.

It actually couldn't be. The Marxist would still have to sign the legislation. That's why they are pushing for this now. If it passes, reversing it would be very difficult.

One problem is that you can bet that Hussein is promising a lot of RAT reps $250K/yr jobs at the EPA...or a judgeship. That's an impeachable offense,but....

This assumes both that there will be elections, and that those elections will be fair/honest. While I think the former is fairly valid, the latter I have little faith in.

Let me give you a lesson in reality. First of all do not dignify this POS as healthcare reform because it is not. 73% of the American people oppose it. If the Rats pass this they will get killed in November 2010 and in 2012. The Congress can refuse to fund Obozocare cut it out of the budget entirely. Parts of this disgrace are unconsitutional and will be challenged. The SCOTUS is no friend of Obozo and will gladly stick it to him with a red hot poker.

But the problem is...neither Hussein,Dirty Harry nor Bella Pelosi *care*.Nor do a good many RAT senators and reps.IMO,this will be won or lost in the House. How many judgeships and $250K/yr jobs at the EPA are there?Hundreds.Thousands.And do you think that Hussein would hesitate *for a minute* to ustilize that kind of "persuasion".You know her wouldn't!

You got THAT right.

Our next step is to get this sociopath in a straight jacket and put him where all mentally ill narcissistic fanatics belong.

Time to revisit the question: ‘What if Obama is out of his mind?’
Tony Gallardo
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2010/03/time_to_revisit_the_question_w.html

In an Esquire on-line article on June 10, 2009, Charles P. Pierce asked “What if Obama’s out of his mind?”

In one paragraph, he led off with:

“Listen to him. He’s talking in what seems to be a glossolalic deluge of issues. One plan a week, each thrown out there while we’re still digesting the previous one. He’s moving too fast for us to keep up with him. He’s talking a private language, to himself, like crazy people do.....”

Obama’s Malignant Narcissism
By James Lewis
http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/03/obamas_malignant_narcissism.html

The hardest thing in psychiatry is to keep an open mind while sitting with a patient, who might be trying to provoke and manipulate the doctor, day after day, month after month. We want to understand troubled people, but people are complex.

Psychiatric diagnoses are just reasonable guesses. Most human beings are much too mixed, much too complicated, and much too interesting to reduce to just a checklist.

Obama is the exception. [snip] ...

...
It’s possible that Obama may be a “fanatic type” of narcissist. That could mean a world of trouble for the Democrats, for the nation, and given his position in the world, for other countries as well.

Here is Theodore Millon’s definition of the fanatic type:

“fanatic type - including paranoid features. A severely narcissistically wounded individual, usually with major paranoid tendencies who holds onto an illusion of omnipotence. These people are fighting the reality of their insignificance and lost value and are trying to re-establish their self-esteem through grandiose fantasies and self-reinforcement. When unable to gain recognition of support from others, they take on the role of a heroic or worshipped person with a grandiose mission.”

By choosing the “nuclear option” Obama is demonstrating do-or-die fanaticism. This makes for great TV football, but it’s very dangerous for the man in the biggest power seat in the world. We are seeing Obama the Radical taking over from Obama the Pragmatist — if that one ever really existed. From what we know about his fanatical associates like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright, sacrificing the Democratic Party majority in Congress[] would be only a small price to pay.

The biggest question is what real damage Obama may do to the country. This man has been entrusted with the greatest power in the world. He will have those powers for the next three years at least.

But he may not be able to emotionally tolerate any real limits on his need for self-aggrandizement and power. And still he can’t be allowed to beat the country into submission.

Good luck to all of us.”

See above link for complete commentary.

Not true... as soon as they set precedent creating entitlements using it... repealing any entitlement becomes feasible. Levin talked about this yesterday.
