The ultimate fall from grace, a Federal grand jury is about to indict John Edwards, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
In another shocker, close sources say Edwards' estranged wife Elizabeth could help send the former presidential candidate to jail!
Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter.
The grand jury has been meeting since April 2009, and insiders say an indictment is imminent.
"John is terrified that he's going to be indicted," a friend told The ENQUIRER.
"While he believes he's done nothing illegal in trying to hide his extramarital affair with Rielle and their daughter, he thinks the Feds are going to make an example of him."

Its the Enquirer. But I wish this was real. Are you forgetting who initially broke this story; who never gave up on this story and had the guts to persue it and corner Edwards in a hotel bathroom in the middle of the night (like a trapped rat!) even when the MSM ignored the story?
What, you don't believe it is true because you haven't heard it in the MSM?

Edwards will never run again so I doubt that.
If Edwards goes to prison he'll be lucky if he ever walks again.

The Enquirer has rediscovered hard nosed journalism.
Where were the great giants of Journalism? Where was the New York Times? Where was the Washington Post?
It pains me to say it but it looks like the National Enquirer is doing more investigative journalism than the heavy hitters of the MSM. Maybe it's because the NY Times is no longer a good source of news but is essentially an advocate.
I'm going to be honest. I take to pleasure in the disgrace of Edwards. My religion will not allow me to gloat at the pain of another. But I'm glad the guy is out of politics. And I'm glad he's not going to be around as a political figure. He was always an empty suit to me.

I’m starting to wonder about that. Mill workers usually don’t raise effeminate sissies.

Could be one of Zeros first pardons. Bill Ayers will be his first...Edwards could certainly be his second. If the price is right,of course.

If you are reading Rolling Stone for serious news you’ve got problems. If you are reading Rolling Stone so that you are aware of what idiots take seriously, then that’s not so bad.

Should be: I take no pleasure in the disgrace of Edwards.
Software has only spell check and no grammar check.

Elizabeth Edwards has been in a “teminal” state for many years.
Does anybody know the “truth” about this? Was it all for politics?
Thank you.

Bill Ayers will be his first...Ayres was never convicted of a crime and it's highly unlikely he ever will be. So there is no need for Zero to pardon him.
Though it may not be probable it is possible Edwards will be convicted which would make him a prime candidate for Zero's first pardon.
