I don’t think it showed our troops in a bad light. I very much enjoyed the movie. It did tell a story that wasn’t completely realistic... the EOD guys going off on their own, without telling anybody else... on some personal mission. No, that’s just not the way it would’ve happened.
But I thought the depiction of the EOD mission, overall... was gripping.
Concur your analysis, Ramius. I thought it was an excellent movie. And, after all, that’s what it was; it didn’t claim to be a documentary about EOD. Those real EOD guys have some giant cojones.
