Title doesn’t match the context. He said basically expecting the gov to build a wall is nonsense, but the full context is to use US Military Technology like predator drones on the border.
He’s done more than any other border governor to secure the border.

Rick has done a lot of good for the state, but his stand on our borders is similar to Bush’s. Either have imigration laws or dammit don’t( oh wait, then we have an influx of those pesky Irish, Germans,Swiss,Eyetalians and French

Right.. he was part of a conspiracy.. KBH killed it, he attacked her for it when she did. He had nothing to do with the border fence being killed, that was a federal gov action.

Look up Operation Rio Grande and Operation Linebacker. He has attempted to do a lot and in several cases the federal government has blocked him. The conspiracy theorists and the my way or the high way crowd in terms of the means of securing have twisted his record- but check it out for yourself.

I say ask Perry to update his position with clarity.
How FReepers can support Perry is beyond me. The guy has been Governor for 10 years already. Isn't it time to hang it up?
He has complained about the border fence since day #1. Duncan Hunter blames him in part along with KBH and Cornyn.

Nonsense. She never claimed to believe that ANY of the “questions” about 911. She only repeatedly stated people have the right to ask them.
I wouldn’t mind Vaccine Perry winning, as long as they keep him in Texas and build the border fence over his objections.
However, illegal immigration I would say is a top issue. For instance, how will the govonor clean up this mess? Moreover, how are they going to address all the illegals in prison, sucking welfare, overcrowding schools, and making the state pay for their medical care (every day stuff non-emergency)? What about the borders, language and culture. Yeah I’m sure Rick Perry is going to be a hawk on that. (sarcasm off)
Not that it matters anymore, but Rick Perry was AL GORE’s presidential campaign manager (for Texas) in 1988.
