My son bridges from Cub to Boy Scouts this Saturday--in the centennial year! How special is that?

Good for your son. My son’s scoutmaster let us know that the rank patchs awarded this year are unique and are only issued for the 100th year. If your son makes 2nd or 1st class, the rank patch will be a collectable item. My boy just was inducted into the Order of the Arrow and should have his eagle finished by this fall. I only made Life Scout, but I am very proud of my son for beating me. He’s off to a good start.

That is truly special. Friday night, five local Packs combined for one large Blue & Gold, and my OA group was invited to perform the Arrow of Light ceremony.

This is an exciting time to be involved in Scouting.

I think the Arrow of Light rank badge is a special centennial one. Mine bridges in two weeks. The other just earned Star
