He's still healing from a game that was over a month ago...by laying down limestone for a walkway.

O...K...

Tell Farve to go stand in front of the mirror and admire himself.

Childress could call his old boss Andy Reid and get McNabb for a second round pick. That would buy him a few years to develop a young quarterback. Of course, that decision only makes sense if Favre does retire. Childress is probably wishing Favre would make up his mind in the next week.

As a Vikings fan, I was prepared to NOT like Favre. He won me over with:
1) Poking fun at himself in the Sears commercials
2) After beating the Packers (yes!!), the sideline reporter kept trying to get him to trash the Packers, say something about revenge and Favre wouldn't do it—he was very respectful
3) He is a great QB!!

Right up until the end it was fun to be a Vikings fan, and that doesn't happen during too many seasons.
Oh, and
4) Even though he is mega-rich, he's working on his mother-in-law’s driveway instead of hiring it out

Oh goody, the Favre haters have something new to whine about. And no matter how much they whined this past season, Brett still had a great season.....how dare he!

He’ll be back—by early May. Don’t be surprised that Favre shows up for minicamp primarily almost in a coaching-like position.

Well I like Favre & hope he will play as long as he is healthy & has the skills.. which are both the case I feel.

I can’t believe people downplaying his abilities.. He did take his team to the Superbowl.

I guess I am just cheering also for the old guys (and it is criminal to think of someone as old at 40)
