This is excellent, superb *SATIRE*. The author has a number of articles in the net. The proof that it is so good is that so many people believe it.
Of course, the best humor has a great deal of truth in it. Just do a google search on the author, and you will see that it is satire.

Wow, fooled me. Maybe because I once had a discussion with a “progressive” female (former) friend who said she’d rather be raped than use a gun, which made this all the more believable to me. With her, though, she changed her tune when I posited the question of her daughter being attacked. Even that was too much for her...

I’ve been having that problem lately, too. I can’t tell satire, no matter how surreal, from real news. It seems like “satire to day, legislation tomorrow.”
