Is this going to start a populous revolt and the sacking of the Congress?
This appears to be a destructive path we are set to start walking down. It is scary, where this lead us?
Breaking now.

Personally, I'm glad this sham of a "summit" is nearly over.
Now we can get on to the reconciliation and the ensuing butt-kicking.

Obama just said that the American people don’t care about legislative procedures. Well, perhaps not your voters, Mr. O.

McCain just made the point that a reconciliation vote has never been used to affect 1/6th of the economy.
Obama responds that the American people really don’t care about procedures in the Senate - they just want a majority vote.
Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Yeah, they've tipped their hats to the Republicans. Now for the cram down. Hope there's an assisted suicide clause in there because that will be the only opt out from the beloved demoncrats new utopia.

I support Tea Party gatherings in major cities, aimed at peacefully blocking traffic and services. The media pretends that the Tea Parties aren't happening. If we shut down 6 cities on Thursday April 15, maybe people will think about it.
The system isn't working. We The People need to stop and rethink.
Think about the 2% of the population that is homosexual. They have tremendous power and influence -- because they are vocal, public, and willing to demand they they be listened to. We represent a lot more than 2% of the population.
We need to use tactics that cannot be ignored. That's what they do, and it works.

I posted this before he did.
These damn repubs should have called the President on this from the outset.
They should have said that if this meeting is only to set an agenda of pushing this through, we are walking out unless we get a commitment to follow the rules of the Senate.

Obama just stated that the American people don’t care about process and want them to pass the bill.
No wonder he went after John McCain for such ferocity when the topic of process was introduced.

walk out unless we get a commitment to follow the rules of the Senate. Actually, this was discussed early in the meeting, I was listening, not watching, so I don't know who brought it up.
To: skr
Yeah I heard him say that - condescending comments by the left again.... we're not stupid and you and your lefty followers are going to be looking for jobs soon.
I hope, if this abomination gets passed, we can get our Majority party of conservatives to pass a law dropping anyone who leaves office - let them pay for it themselves.

What message does this send to a nation about the rule of law?
Anarchy vs civilization, I didn’t know the President was an Anarchist.

Is this going to start a populous revolt and the sacking of the Congress? Nope! There is no guts left in America. Lots of talk and complaining but when it come right down to what is left of strong Americans to take up the fight is pathetic. Hope I'm wrong.
