Only in an alternate universe could 51% of the people approve of President Dithers.

Beam me up, Scotty.

It seems to me that people still aren’t judging the man by his policies. Otherwise, they would know that he’s an a-hole.

No, 51% is about the number of the people looking for handouts. Probably right.

Deduct 10% for the people who don’t approve but don’t want to seem racist.

I have never doubted that is where his approval rating is. People may call me cynical, but I have a lot less faith in Obama being a one term President. His drop in the polls are probably just dissatisfied lefties who don’t think he’s going far enough. Put him up against a Republican though and they all run back to him.

Rasmussen is generally on the mark.

Rasmussen has the best poll. Only one believable.
45% approval and -19 on approve and disapprove difference.

Gallup has zero credibility.
Rasmussen has Obambie almost as low as he can get, considering the blacks, illegals, and neo-Marxist.
They will be for Obama, no matter what he does.

Sorry, given Gallup's polling methodology, this is completely believable. They poll adults - not registered voters, or the preferred likely voters, but just plain old adults, many of whom have never voted or never will vote in their lifetime.

Moreover, Obama's polling is NEVER going to sink much below the very low 40's, as it is now clear that minorities, to especially include blacks and Hispanics aren't going to abandon him. We're in a new paradigm with respect to Presidential polling.

But wasn’t it Gallup (not Rasmussen) that was on the spot right down to the decimal on Obama’s margin of victory in November 2008?

Sad to say, but I just don’t think many people are paying attention! Except for the very few people I know who watch Fox or listen to Rush, everyone still thinks 0 is just a great guy and great POTUS! It’s VERY FRUSTRATING to talk to these people about politics; they don’t care and are busy leading their lives.

But their kids will sure care someday, when they’re faced with taxes of about 90%! They’re being ill-served by their parent’s lack of knowledge on who is running our country, and what he’s doing to it.

No. Gallup was wildly innaccurate. They had Obama by 11 on 11/2. See below...

Gallup must oversample Dems. Obama always does much better in Gallup than almost any of the rest.

Gallup was among the worst (#17 of 23) Rasmussen was the most accurrate (#1 of 1), tied with Pew, with perfect outcome waiting.
