That is my point except Long Beach doesn’t allow it in its public water system, gets pumped into the local aquifer.

I don't know the specifics of the LB Water Dept other than I know they get import water from the Metropolitan Water District of S CA and they get groundwater from either the Western or Central basin (perhaps both). Regardless, all water systems are interconnected and water is pumped into the basins, and then later pumped out. Still not sure what point you were trying to make, but I think we have discussed this enough.
