Saw it a couple of months back. Favorite part was the loading and unloading of Air Force One. The Kennedy and LBJ folks pushing and shoving....

I’m always fascinated by how fast Jackie makes it from the back seat to the rear bumper of that Lincoln.
SS agent Clint Walker had his hands full trying to keep her from eating asphalt.

I watched part of it, was an adult when it happened. Kennedy went to Texas to mend fences and it didn't look like he was going to be reelected...Bobby hated Johnson and the Kennedy's always thought everything was theirs anyway..Johnson did the right thing by holding up the plane until he was sworn in...If not, he had no right to ride in AF 1 with the secutity that goes with it...All the Kennedy's hated LBJ (I was not a fan of of his after he became presidnet and started the Great Society and war on poverty. He was an ass when it came to Viet Nam also...Increase the military to something like 1/2 million and said on TV he was not going to be the first president to lose a war...He was a jerk, but the Kennedys have always felt entitled to whatever they wanted..

No sympathy for either family....it was common knowledge that they hated each other....jmho The swearing in on AF 1 was the only thing he did right, and Bobby K. would have liked to destroy him...Johnson did that by himself with the way he ran the war as CIC...
