I am unaware of any major religion precluding consumption of the wild and terrible squirrel. That is, if you have the courage to catch one.

Don’t some religions have a prohibition against cloven tails, or something like that. Or a rodent clause, like “Eat thee not of the rat, for the wages thereof are sin, and thou shalt becometh lame in thy hinderparts”.
