After the idiotic selection of Same Mendes to helm the next installment, it only makes sense to pick an equally ridiculous actor to boot. Craig saved the franchise only to hand to Mendes who'll surely destroy it, again.

I'm sure they'll choose a story line that has either the traditional American values or the Marine Corps as the villains. It seems that's the only story Mendes knows how to tell.

Never happen. Bond will never be American just like Harry Potter actors. It has to be british/Commonwealth. I hate Mendes too. The reason why Road to Perdition was watchable because the cinematographer who worked on it worked on Minority Report and Saving Private Ryan.

Agree with you Craig saved the franchise.
While i have not seen any of Mendes movies,he will be controlled by Wilson and Broccoli who are into making a movie that makes lot’s of money.
Last movie the bad guy is a enviro whacko reminded me of Al Gore, they are not in to making artistic or idealistic movies they are into making money..

“Taken” a European movie features scenes of bad guys being tortured, beaten or killed for info on the heroes daughter, made close to $500 million at the box office.
“Milk” about a gay guy in SF made maybe $40 million, but won a oscar..

I think Cubby’s kids are doing a excellent job..

BTW,trivia Cubby’s stepson Michael.C.Wilson also producer has been making cameo appearances in Bond movies for the last six movies....
