I don't think so, although I'm not sure. Toobin has been a fairly well-known legal talking-head since OJ. His star really rose during the impeachment coverage. He's been a writer for the New Yorker at least for a dozen years, perhaps longer and with CNN for about the same time, or again longer. He's a purely orthodox liberal, while trying to assume the guise of impartiality especially when commenting on SCOTUS decisions. And of course, he's an arrogant little *$&%^%.
