Who knows what Megan will do. She's a loon capable of trashing anyone, including her father. Why are you so certain that John McCain will trash Sarah Palin? What would the point be? He honestly likes her. He picked her to be his VP. Many liberals questioned his fitness to lead after he picked Palin for VP. If he were to trash her, he would basically be saying "Yes, you are right after all. I should have never picked her for VP". I don't see him doing that. I think Palin's role in McCain's campaign has probably seen its high water mark. She has fulfilled her duty honorably, and now will be busy elsewhere. Every time I log in, she's giving another speech somewhere, but none of them seem to be in Arizona...

I didn’t see McCain on the talk shows supporting Palin when she was being attacked by his top campaign staff.

I'm not sure what talk shows you are talking about, but I've seen him on numerous shows defending Sarah, including Hannity and one of the Sunday morning news shows.
