The natural greenhouse effect of CO2 is also negligible. The most powerful greenhouse element in our atmosphere is naturally occuring water vapor which accounts for over 95% of what is floating around in our atmosphere. Without it we would be living in an ice age.

The technical stuff belongs with those far more educated than me but it’s always bothered me that of the greenhouse gasses the 0.03% that is CO2 in the atmosphere could be the cause of the end of the earth and force the worlds economies to completely be overhauled or restructured from scratch. I wish someone could graphically show the comparison. Wouldn’t it be a microscopic dot when compared to the world’s atmosphere? Or is parts per million a more accurate measure?
