Pure bred Chihuahuas can be cute dogs...but every dog I’ve seen that is “part chihuahua” is uglier than sin.

I think both dachshunds and chihuahuas are cute : But chiwienies or wieniehuahuas (a dachshund/chihuahua cross breed) are often cuter than either parent breed. They seem to get the best of both (adorable) breeds. If you saw Beverly Hills Chihuahua, the male chihuahua lead was a chiwienie:

Actually, my son and his wife are in the process of *adopting* (I hate that word, you adopt children not pets)a small dog from a local shelter. It is a chihuahua/maltese mix. I have to admit she’s pretty cute, has that scruffy dog look. If they get her I will post pix and you can judge for yourself.
