Yup. And every time things got better, or the current state of affairs because “normal,” we got out a shovel and started digging...

In the 1960’s and 1970s I biked around my neighborhood (in Boca Raton I even biked downtown...), walked to the pool, played in the woods, and took my allowance to the 7-11 for Icees and comic books. My wife lived in a similar fashion - but more so.

IN the 2000’s we can’t let our children out of our sight, except after dropping them off at school or at trusted neighbors’ homes.

Yeah. Things are just fine...
