I've hated NASCAR since the days when they penalized Mopars, so I haven't been keeping up with this, but the other night, I was seated where "DSPN" was front-and-center, and I was amused beyond any expectations I might have had. My conclusions:

1. if Danica Patrick looked like Danny Bonaduce in drag, interest in her would be nonexistent.

2. she doesn't need to win a race, because this is a marketing game with some cars grafted on

3. should she choose to drive in lingerie, she can be the next President of the United States... and she won't need to spend a dime for advertising.

I say modern nascar is only about marketing, so what’s the difference?
