I like the Whole Foods guy, and I think he could give Palin a run for her money.

You got a thing for John Mackey? I saw you touting him on other threads this morning. He’s not exactly a household name...

That is a strange response.
I actually thought I would get thoughtful responses. I am not pimping for a person who is not running I am only trying to get the prose and cons about the man.

Are you talking about the former USC coach? Or the Olympic broadcaster? I think they are both dead.

I did enjoy John Mackey in Super Bowl V. He's a bit over the hill for Presidential politics, however.

Who, what, where, when, how and learn to proofread while you are at it.

Nit wit.

Here is the deal. I am in the bank for Sarah Palin, but I am willing to consider other people. If other people are John Mackey I will vote in 2012. If other people are Mitt then I will go drinking on voting day.

If you’re looking for someone who needs NO learning curve to serve as Commander-in-Chief, consider retired Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace, USMC.

Google him up, you’ll be impressed (or should be).

He would certainly do a better job than Obama, but that is not hard to do.

I’d like to see a line up of those who are interested and make up my mind then. My preference would be a constitutionalist, but they seem to be pretty rare.

I haven’t seen enough substance about Sarah Palin to make a decision about her. I don’t want Romney because he seems more like a RINO to me, and Huckabee pardoned a hardened criminal who later ambushed and killed 4 police officers.

So from my perspective the field is wide open and I hope we get someone with with at least some Reaganesque quaities, but I don’t see that yet.

Sure, great ball player, would make a great president. He could block, catch with the best of them and run after the catch.

Wrong guy?

Does anyone actually know what his politics are? All we know is he opposses Obama’s health care reform. Thats a big leap from there to saying he’d make a good President.

For one thing, he’s the CEO of a whole foods corporation, which makes me think he might be a vegetarian or vegan who is against hunting and is in bed with PETA. I don’t know this, but I’m just saying. Is that the type of guy we want representing us? A friend of PETA? What do we really know about this guy?
