What do you think?
He is the Whole Foods CEO. I am offering him as the alternative to Mitt. I am for Sarah, but If people must have a CEO then I would support John Mackey.
Great question: He supports the troops. There is not a soldier that does not love and respect Patreaus.
Agreed. But that doesn’t say anything about his politics. I just think its dumb to propose someone for president or vice president who you have no idea what their politics are.
As the Reagan Administration was ending folks were saying the same thing about Colin Powell.
He would certainly do a better job than Obama, but that is not hard to do.
I’d like to see a line up of those who are interested and make up my mind then. My preference would be a constitutionalist, but they seem to be pretty rare.
I haven’t seen enough substance about Sarah Palin to make a decision about her. I don’t want Romney because he seems more like a RINO to me, and Huckabee pardoned a hardened criminal who later ambushed and killed 4 police officers.
So from my perspective the field is wide open and I hope we get someone with with at least some Reaganesque quaities, but I don’t see that yet.
>> Just because a guy is a great general does not make him a conservative. <<
Agreed. But at least, almost everybody thinks Petraeus really is a “great” general — unlike that total jerk, Wes Clark, who was such a terrible general that even Bill Clinton was forced to have him fired.
He looks a little dorky. However, who among us has not looked dorky
My Problem with Mitt is that I learned too much about him in the last election cycle. He is as liberal as the Huckster.
That is a fascinating explanation, one I’ve not heard before.
Nicely stated.
Sure, great ball player, would make a great president. He could block, catch with the best of them and run after the catch.
Wrong guy?
To 8 - LOL
Does anyone actually know what his politics are? All we know is he opposses Obama’s health care reform. Thats a big leap from there to saying he’d make a good President.
For one thing, he’s the CEO of a whole foods corporation, which makes me think he might be a vegetarian or vegan who is against hunting and is in bed with PETA. I don’t know this, but I’m just saying. Is that the type of guy we want representing us? A friend of PETA? What do we really know about this guy?
Isn’t that Rodney Harrison?

It’s a sad story. He was a heckuva football player.
