Me and others have looked up the stats and posted them,,,
Search > dog bites < and add the date will get you the
latest news,,,
If you search by the year there are lists of the number
of bites for that year,,,
IIRC about 60%+ of people killed/mauled are by pits...
I meant the specific tendency to go for the face, rather than some other part of the body.

You should know from posting these media reports that a large percentage of the dogs are misidentified by the media to build hype.
