Excuse me, I said I agree I would help, but other people are more concerned with their jobs, maybe people have been fired in the past for helping and those employees have 6 mouths to feed. I do not agree with standing by, but I can see with this economy how some might.

The Kitty Genovese story was largely bullshit. Yes, a woman was murdered. No, 37 people did not sit and watch. Several calls were made to police, police did not respond, at least not in time. Most people were asleep, one was drunk.
