“And you still would of stood by and watched?”

Like I said before, 15-1 you jump in all you want. Get back to me on how it turns out. She’s not dead, not even that banged up. Starting a general fight could have made it worse, especially for the outsider who butted in.

Not the hill I’m ready to die on, but you do what you think is right.

“Starting a general fight could have made it worse, especially for the outsider who butted in.”

Three paid uniformed security guards moving in between the victim and the attacker is not butting in and starting a general fight.

I take it that if the girl was pushed into the path of a bus or the light rail which use that tunnel and you saw that she was about to be hit unless someone reached out to pull her back, your hands would of been in your pockets.

Oh and by the way I have been in situations exactly like this as a uniformed and unarmed Shore Patrol Officer while in the Navy both overseas and state side. Even unarmed, we intervened to stop fights. Sometimes sailor on sailor, and sometimes Sailors or Marines against a civilians. And in almost all cases alcohol was involved, which gave us no less reason to get involve and restore peace. I would have been sickened if we were told to do nothing but watch until the Police arrived. And I sure there would have been a few deaths or serious injuries as a result of our non-action.
