We have drifts up to our shoulders here. We are on a small farm and it’s been a dicey proposition to get over to the second barn.
When we return to the house, the first thing we do is quaff a jigger of Irish Mist. It’s a good reward for a nasty job done.
What’s your location, Mrs. A?
I’m on a small retired dairy farm in central Maryland, Carroll/Frederick county border. I was tracking the storm last night on the radar and I swear that our house got hit by every last snowflake that could have possibly fallen. It looks very pretty right now.
We have 2 horses and three goats. I have to “swim” down to our outbuildings to feed our critters, as well as to the woodshed for fresh wood, but that ain’t so far.
This has ceased to be entertaining for my children.
