The other day, before the most recent round of snow, I had my daughter drop one of these in snowbanks, interspersed at about 200 feet, along our 200 yard driveway as I cut a path to our van and I shoveled from one to the next.
I only have 3 left.

As of January 19th, Obama is fresh out of the mojo that makes his Kool-aid kick.

We have drifts up to our shoulders here. We are on a small farm and it’s been a dicey proposition to get over to the second barn.
When we return to the house, the first thing we do is quaff a jigger of Irish Mist. It’s a good reward for a nasty job done.

What’s your location, Mrs. A?
I’m on a small retired dairy farm in central Maryland, Carroll/Frederick county border. I was tracking the storm last night on the radar and I swear that our house got hit by every last snowflake that could have possibly fallen. It looks very pretty right now.
We have 2 horses and three goats. I have to “swim” down to our outbuildings to feed our critters, as well as to the woodshed for fresh wood, but that ain’t so far.
This has ceased to be entertaining for my children.

A smart post for a newb on a snowbound night.

“Whats your location, Mrs. A?”
We are probably neighbors - I am in Mount Airy. We have 26 alpacas. The girls’ barn is not so far from the house, but it took us almost three hours to cut over to the boys’ barn this morning. The animals are all lounging in the barns for now, fat and happy. As long as the hay, feed and water are there, they don’t care what we have to do to get it to them. Ungrateful little wretches!
I don’t think they are going to see bare ground until well into March.
The snow is gorgeous, but how can something that is so pretty look so ugly to me?
