It looked like Daltry was about to pass out after the harmonica solo

I noticed that too. It was also kind of painful to hear much vocal range Daltry has lost. Nonetheless, it was a better show than, say, Brittany Spears or some gangsta rap show.

some synching going on? Townsend's guitar wheels were off sequence from hitting chords and sound.

Also in general very washed out. Kind of like a 1978trans am in need of a valve job and new transmission and covered with bondo. You remember how fast it went and how great it looked vs what is appears to be now Back in the day the Who was a well oiled machine: Daltry meshed with entwhistle Townsend and moon and did not over power: Sadly the opposite on this AARP sponsored event

and no guitar smashing?

Actually, I think Roger’s voice held up fairly well. He doesn’t have the range he once had, but at least he wasn’t straining as badly as he has in recent performances.
