There were a few other notes a bit off, but I like it that way.

It’s live, real, and there is no pitch correction software being utilized.

Oh Canada brings back a lot of memories. When I lived in Denver back in the late 70’s I used to organize groups for Colorado Rockies games. We would get off from work and meet at Zangs, a micro brewery where their “Snappy” beer was sold for 25 cents a longneck on hockey night. After we’d have a bunch of those, they would load us up in these 2 school busses and haul us over to McNichols Arena hanging out the windows singing -— Oh Canada. Ah, the good ole days. On nights they played the Bruins, Flyers, or Red Wings, we’d take off from work early and go over to this guys house and watch “Slap Shot”, then go to Zangs.

These boys still got it and they oughta go to the studio record some new material, with lesbo backup chicks filling out the high notes!

“Who played at halftime at the Super Bowl?”

“Yes.”

“What’s their name?”

“Who.”

“The band that played at halftime.”

“Who.”

“That’s what I’m asking. Who was it?”

“That’s right.”

And “I Don’t Know” is on third

My young kids were laughing at the old guys “trying to rock”.

What type of music do your kids normally listen to?

My kids are 9, 11, and 12. They mostly listen to Christian rock, i.e., Red, Skillet, etc.

It seemed to me that he had copied Keith’s unique style. It’s actually quite impressive, imho.

Pete Townsend has repeatedly stated the song was part of an unfinished rock opera about the future. It is based on his view of 1960s revolutionaries and how rock stars were hailed as the new gods, the new leaders, and according to his own words, “We’re not in charge of your life. Don’t be fooled by me, or them, or the old guard, or whomever. Rule your own life.” You combine this song with Going Mobile and other songs with Townsend’s lifestyle and you’d conclude he and Won’t Get Fooled Again is more libertarian.
