this woman is repeatedly showing why she did not make it earlier. she is strange. cats adapt. i am sure she could afford a flight where she could even keep her cat on her lap if she wanted.

...cats adapt.

Some do, some don't. Ours sobbed and wailed like a baby for weeks after we moved, starting at dawn. I would have to get up and hold her and walk her like a colicky baby.

Some of the people in her village claim she was injured at birth and has always been a bit slow. Her parish priest says he has looked out for her since her parents died.
I am glad she is staying in her home, CA would not be a good place for her.

Perhaps it is a cover of sorts ... she might not want to leave her home. I read she took care of her family for years and likely is used to a cloistered environment. Remember her near nervous breakdown during the height if the Idol show. Growth of this sort is best accomplished in stages. Nothing wrong with her. Simply sheltered and uncertain of making ,what to her seem drastic changes.

God blessed her with beautiful voice. The lime light is overwhelming at best. Give her a break. She will use her voice in her own time.

A few years ago I remember reading a comment by one of the world's great opera singers. Sorry, not recalling her name at this moment. I believe she was from Australia. Her comment was, about what a burden it was to possess one of the worlds great voices. The demands were many. It is necessary to keep practiced and strong, etc..

The cat has lived there all it’s life. So how does she know the cat doesn’t like moving?

“cats adapt.”

Not as you hope or think.

Cats stress out easily which can cause them to die right there and then.

cats adapt

Some cats do - some are more difficult. When we moved, girl cat was excited to explore the new digs. Boy cat slumped into a heap on the floor and would not respond. I called DH, who was packing at the other place, in a panic and he said, "do something familiar with him." So I assembled my recliner, pulled it up in front of the TV, sat my CAT-atonic cat in the chair and turned on Emeril Live. He eventually came around. They're all different.

I wouldnt go either and it has nothing to do with cats. She’s a homebody, not a socialite an leaving her friends and family and moving to a new country is too scary. She probably used the cat as an excuse to stay....I would probably say the same thing.

Yes a private flight to LA her kitty would probably not even know what was up. Bring her things she is familar with and Pebbles would be fine. We moved with 2 cats here and after a few hours here with their things and their people both settled in just fine.
