Practice makes perfect.....post on....
her mom said now that she lives back in her home town she has to properly dress to go to the store as people actually KNOW her. so I guess her mom has gotten her act together........when we arrived at their house yesterday maya was still in jammies, she did get dressed for the party though. I laughed and asked if that was her outfit for the party.
Given the rapidly shrinking labor force maybe we won’t get to 11% official unemployment...
it’s cute hearing stories about her, but i can tell you i would never have let my kids out in PJs! LOL! i guess if the mom goes out like that though it wouldn’t be a priority for her to make the kids dress properly. everyone picks their battles, i know.
I wasn’t too concerned about who won last night -I would have preferred the Colts just because I’ve been subjected to the Katrina’s for so long here in the Sanctuary city... but have to admit seeing Drew Brees with his baby son afterwards was heartwarming. They had the earphones on his head and Drew kept kissing his little hand.....it was adorable.
i didn’t see bc i didn’t watch til the bitter end but xsteen was telling me about it this AM, and she found it very endearing. she said he was crying with happiness and that does endear me, rather than someone who is jaded and expecting a win etc.
His son is beautiful and less than a year old I think - or close to it - they had these huge earphones on him to protect his ears, which was really good planning - and the boy just kept looking around, never cried. Many of the other players were beating their chests and prancing....
i haven’t been able to find any online pix of it though i have looked. i would love to see the lil babe.
thanks!! how SWEET!!!
Slatternly moms are still A-OK! ;-0
Here's my granddaughter, baptized.
she looks like a holy little thing! how precious! Church looks beautiful.
i love the puppy on her bib!
What a pretty baby - is that some red hair I see?
Gloomy and rain again, but at least it is warmer than yesterday-
Jimmy Carter in overdrive-
The iterative Obama agenda-
He still believes he’s king
But we know he’s a pretendah
Now he promises transparency
When the waters are muddied-
Is he worried about November
And ‘rats with noses bloodied?
We can certainly hope to see
Such a thing come to pass
Proving that some in office
Still have a semblance of class
When I checked my phone messages yesterday, there was one from my nemesis-no name, just a home number, cell phone number and a flattering plea for a call, but I know that velvet voice only too well, and yesterday was his B-day. I’m flattered, and suddenly reminded to be careful what you ask God for...
No night clothes after getting up for me or my kid either-I guess it is just a personal thing.
eeks, i got chills reading about the phone msg. A+++
What a precious baby!
It's her dad, exactly! My daughter has dark hair and a Mediterranean complexion. She thought the nurse had given her the wrong kid.
Thank you!
Unless the urge to contact me came to him in a dream-not likely-a mutual friend of ours has given nemesis news of my changed marital status, and they will be curious about what resulted. It likely won’t be long before the instigator of this gets curious enough to call and ask something like hey, have you heard from nemesis lately? At that point, I will ream them a new one for giving out information just to satisfy their salacious appetite for gossip-then I will call nemesis and show him that I’m no longer so nice as I used to be by smacking him down for all the pain his arrogance and low Hispanic tolerance caused me all those years ago.
Unless he has had an epiphany, there is a reason he is without a companion-namely that he is a still an arrogant, sanctimonious prick-he even dared to call me by the pet name he had for me in our time together in the message...
