It looks like they know the green movement is becoming more of an object of ridicule, and they’re trying to “own” the issue from the start by adding comedy to a pro-green commercial.

Possibly thinking they can pass it off as self-promoting in a self-effacing way.

But in the end it’s tyranny, masked by a contemporary style of comedy.

Well, I heard Rush’s take on this and it appears he understands it correctly. The commercial was just about a business acting normal, through a brilliant strategy.

I was inaccurately perceiving something sinister at work.
