She may have been nominated for Best Actress at this year's Oscars ceremony for her breakthrough role in An Education, but off-screen, Carey Mulligan has also been garnering rave reviews for her gorgeous, quirky looks and inspired red-carpet choices.
The 24-year-old British actress can do floor-hitting, traffic-stopping gowns - in vampish red Lanvin at the SAG Awards, and strapless midnight-blue Nina Ricci at the Globes, for instance - like the best of them, but excels when she plays up her image of the ingénue. Coquettish LBDs and sweet, long-sleeved dresses with a Sixties' vibe pay homage to Audrey Hepburn, an actress to whom Mulligan has often been compared. Nor does she shy away from prints or embellishment, either, stepping out in a bold pink, red and turquoise graphic florals minidress, and a silver "fractured mirror" frock by Prada.

I’m sorry but I see nothing special there and .. I Certainly don’t see any semblance to Audrey Hepburn.

I hate how she cropped her hair. I discovered her when she played Ada Claire in an adaptation of Bleak House. Here is a link of a photo of her from that mini-series:

I don’t see it either
I do agree she’s cute. And it sounds like even she finds the Hepburn comparison a bit much. Although Carey, you ain’t no Shrek, either. Far from it. Note to photographers and editors: Carey Mulligan is an attractive young woman with (in case you hadn’t noticed) a nice smile. More of that, please.
I like short hair chicks
