I was once talking with a friend who is a big old democrat in California. She lamented that they always held the state RAT convention at the worst hotels, because they had to go to union hotels. I had to run out of the room laughing. Yes, you support people, but disparage them at the same time.
I’ve never known any white liberals that lived in predominately black communities. In fact, most of them lived in very affluent areas.
