FRiends, please blast this out to any MA voters you know.
Tim Cahill is the only choice in the 2010 MA governor’s race. Patrick (Rat) is a joke and Baker (RINO) is an illegal alien-funding liberal.
Thank you!
Well this is going to be interesting!
Baker has the gay flame Tisei for a running mate, Mihos is a borderline nutcase, Cahill a former Dem is running with an Republican ex - state rep as his Lt Gov.
You beautifully summarized the field - NICE!
I’m backing Cahill 100%!
Tim Cahill is a typical Bunker-Hill Democrat , running as an Independent because it's so hard to knock out an incumbent, even an unpopular one, in a primary. Given the pathetic state of the GOP in MA, he figured he'd have a better shot splitting the anti-Patrick vote.
Cahill’s running mate had been hosting fundraisers for Baker until he got picked as Cahill’s fourth choice. Fourth choice that we know about, that is.
So maybe Cahill’s running mate is better than Baker’s. Big, fat hairy deal. If running mates mattered, President Palin would be busy undoing President Bentsen’s legacy.

Dangus - did Baker serve under Weld? Didn’t his running mate Tisei give the nod to same sex marriage?
While both Baker & Tisei are Republicans, I would hardly call them conservatives.
Yeah, I guess Baker did serve under Weld. And Cahill is serving under Patrick right now. What’s your point. But I tell you what: 8 years from now, when Baker is term limited, I promise I’ll oppose Tisei if he decides to run for governor.
NO! Cahill ran for Treasurer and as an elected official does NOT serve under Patrick AT ALL.
Baker served under Weld who also appointed Marshall to the SJC (who went on to imposed same sex marriage on Massachusetts).
Baker chose Tisei as his first decision on the road to governship, sorry that ended it for me (& a lot of here actually residing in Mass).
I’m looking for someone who supports traditional families.
Anyone who doubts me....just wait and see.
I have no visions of Cahill being fantastic, but of the three candidates, he has the least amount of warts. Baker has donated to pro-illegal aliens groups; that's the kiss of death to me. Also, factor in his involvement in RomneyCare and he just sucks as a candidate.
Well put DJChazzyChazz!
I love your tagline.
I despise Patrick.
>> It’s Beacon Hill, <<
Hah. Oops. It’s actually Hooker Hill, but Beacon Hill sounded better, once the name Hooker became more famous for Hooker’s women. ;^) (They actually have a statue of Gen. Hooker on Beacon Hill, making a total mishmash over who’s named for what.)
It’s a “mental typo” on my part, having used Park Street and Downtown Crossing stations on a daily basis, while I lived in Somerville and worked near Fenway. (I used to switch lines by way of the tunnel between them, preferring to do so over switching at North Station. I liked the hippy musicians and the bagels they sold down there. But that was years ago... I don’t even know if they still sell bagels.)
Thank you very much!
Patrick was the trial baloon for Obama; remember David Axelrod ran Patrick’s campaign in 2006.
I didn’t realize Axelrod ran his campaign.
What an incestuous little group.
Setti Warren will be the “next big thing” I guarantee it.
BTW, I’m pretty sure that going Indy was the safer route. Last poll I saw had Patrick getting 32% of the vote. Since Dems are 39% -47% of the electorate (depending on whether you use registration or exit polling), that means that Patrick is probably beating him anywhere from 32-7 to 32-15 (presuming the Independent voters Patrick is pulling aren’t outnumbering by much the Democrat voters that the Republicans are getting). Meanwhile, the same poll has Cahill within the margin of error, overall.
This makes sense to me, too, since in Massachusetts only the most machine-oriented of liberals actually registers as a Democrat.
