It's a trap into which I naively fell many years ago and I will NEVER FORGET what that "toy" conjured up. Don't believe me ... check out the responses at the above link. For the unbelievers, this man made object is a tunnel that leads to a dark world.
They’ve always sold it, right with the Monopoly and Life games, ever since I was a little kid.
(Watch the Exorcist.)
Wow! Interesting reading the comments on the link. Thanks!
It is a toy,It’s an old magic trick, use to be into magic when I was a kid.
I also have experience with those things. We were scientific with our experiments; and, verified that these things are not baseless. I do indead classify them as dangerous because they clearly open one up to spritual harm.
For you skeptic readers, one of the experiments was conducted as follows: Two groups of people separated by hundreds of miles were able to send messages through this medium. Message text was double blind and flawlessly delivered. Cell phones and even pagers had not been invented. There was no communication between these groups except the Ouija Boards. Validation occured when the paper with the transcribed message was returned to the parent group.
The only thing I know is that when I was about 12, and with a bunch of friends. We played the Ouija board all the time. I remember asking who I would marry. It gave me a first name of Tom and a first initial of S as the last name. Through the years I forgot what those were but several years ago, I found my old “Dear Diary” and as I was reading through it, I found the prediction and amazingly enough, that is precisely what my happened.
>”THIS IS NOT A TOY!”
Disagree. I had one as a kid. According to your logic, it turned me into a God-fearing family man who served his country for 24 years in the Air Force as a cop and a First Sergeant.
You can turn ANYTHING into something it’s not. I’m sure “Spin-The-Bottle” is seen as some Devil’s game by someone.
And, let me add, I’m sure there are a lot of Satan worshipers out there that never had one. (Oh, and just in case you ask, no, I’m not the voice of Satan. Just a regular guy with the voice of reality)
Didn’t they say this kind of stuff about video games?
By and large, I think most stories of spiritual encounters are merely the power of suggestion, and I think it's important we not underestimate how strongly that can influence us to think "no, no, this was real." But I have a friend who I've known since high school who had some strange occurences, some to this day she doesn't like to be reminded of because they scare the bejeesus out of her. One involved a seance where "something" named itself.
I’m with you.
I was naive myself and played around with one of these a long time ago. Needless to say, it was a gateway to other things that I should not have been involved with. Those were some very, very dark and disturbing times for me.
God is merciful, and he pulled me back out of that evil. I thank the Lord for every day that I am in the world of truth and light and not in the world of darkness and lies.
Packaging these horrible things to look like they are harmless toys and presenting them to children is a horrible thing to do on the part of the manufacturers and retailers. Children honestly do not know what they are getting into whith this stuff!
