What a catty, shrewish harpy! Are you sure she’s not a Democrat? Her jealously is SO obvious! Everyone wants to sign Sara’s dance card and this pathetic little shriveling violet has been kicked to the curb.
Cindie
As self-serving, sexually jealous female, alleged pundit who makes HERSELF the focus of her own website, as is evident by her big, snotty mug being the dominant graphic.
“D: Rand Paul said these things. Unless you can provide proof he didnt say them, it matters little where someone learned that he said these things. Anyone who doesnt care that he holds these extreme positions is not a good guy. DS”
This was a reply from Debbie who was debating the source of Knish. “UNLESS YOU CAN PROVIDE PROOF HE DIDN’T SAY THEM???”
How do you prove a negative?
So let me see if I have this straight:
Nutty Debbie Schlussel links to some unknown blogspot blogger no one has ever heard of, and in turn that guy uses a source from a Grayson-supporter-paid-for smear site that mostly just attacks Ron Paul and says everything Ron has ever said or done in his entire life is automatically the same as what Rand likes.
If that is the case, does that mean that Rand Paul’s opponent (Trey Grayson) is guilty of all his father’s donations to democrats and the fact that Grayson’s dad’s bank took bailout money?
The idiocy on display here is rather breathtaking.
I can definitely agree w/ that. Get your head out! Saying Rand Paul is anti-Jewish or anti-Israel is pathetic. Prove to me that it's true.
And Hussein came across as an intellectual - how’d that work out?
I'd rather have an idiot with common sense than a poser with none.
She is connecting with Freepers on a cultural and emotional level, but I agree she does not come off as having an deeply grounded, intellectually conservative world view in the way that Goldwater and Reagan did.
And I hate it that "intellectual" seems to have become an insult on FR these days. I grew up reading the works of conservatives like Russell Kirk, Whittaker Chambers, and Friedrich Hayek. You'll never convince me that the likes of Hannity, Coulter, and Beck can compare.
You support RINOs anyway, goldstate. What do you care.
PMS alert
Are you going to bash Steve Forbes the same way, he endorsed Rand as well.
The problem with intellectuals is that they tend to think big thoughts but do nothing about them. Too many intellectuals in government is part of the reason it is in the shape it is in, and to listen to folks pine for intellectualism in their candidates reminds of this guy:
I'll take the do'ers like Sarah Palin over the intellectuals like Adlai here any day of the week.
It is sad that many conservative “celebrity” women seem to have their claws out for Palin...I’m not even that much of a Palin fan, but the hormonal reaction to her is obvious.
Best post of the thread, gimmelibertee!
Fixed it.
I 100% agree with Debbie Schlussel on her assessment of Rand Paul. I though do not agree with her overall criticism of Sarah Palin. I see that there are a lot of posters here who want to defend Rand Paul but her criticism of him is correct. He may have softened some of his nutty positions recently during his campaign but he has expressed way to many positions the same as his father and I will not support him. The Paulites are a double-edged sword. They do have some good positions that they take that I could surely support but they are over the edge and out of their mind when it comes to Foreign policy. I am disappointed that Sarah is supporting Paul and will fight tooth and nail against any candidate that takes the foreign policy stances of Ron Paul. If I am wrong about Rand then I will admit it but I doubt it very much.
