It makes you THINK, unlike most of the other garbage there is. Have you followed the show from the beginning? If not, it would mean nothing to you.

The stupidest show in the history of television. What exactly is the point of this mind-numbing crap?

In short, it's an extended nonlinear character study with a kind of sci-fi plot, very high production values, tight continuity, and an extremely active alternate reality game (which I've pretty much ignored; the show is still great). It's so full of allusions and symbols that it's been called semiotics pornography. The cast is brilliant, too. So's the music.

It's not for everyone, though. Fortunately, you've got options, like "Kitchen Nightmares" or "Biggest Loser: Couples."

we never get into the serials......no Dancing with the Stars nor Survivor of Heroes nor Greys anatomy nor American Idol ....but somehow we got hooked on Lost.....

I didn't think it was the best show but at least we know about Smokey now...
