donating $1,000 to Linsey Graham a payback for the 2008 campaign? Is she paying back?
This is correct, paying back same amount given to her during campaign
“Palin is simply an Obama in skirts.”
No, but she is probably a McCain in a skirt. Except without the military service and his tendency to begin every speech with “My friends...”
Anyone who takes this woman, and I mean Schlussel, seriously after reading this, “While I dont know if Paul espouses the 9/11 Truther and other wacky rhetoric...” is not a very logical person. She could not bother to goggle someone’s campaign site before trying to smear them. That is certainly someone to ignor.
I think Palin sees things in a BIG PICTURE way
Exactly. This is a view many on FR don’t have and why they don’t get it.
They see the world looking through a straw
I never had a problem with either Paul on fiscal issues. The dealbreaker was always on foreign policy and national security. Saddam Hussein would still be in power if Rand Paul had his way.
This puts things into perspective, if its true. Is the point of donating $1,000 to Lindsey Graham a payback for the 2008 campaign? Is she paying back or returning funds that Graham gave to her at some point?
It was on July 14th of 2009 that the money went to him, it was during a two month period from June to early August when her Pac seemed to be doing some 2008 cleanup.
That said, I will say Palin is not Obama clone. But her stances sure hit all over the conservative dartboard at times.
But she has a serious fan base here, and that is fine, but presidential material she ain't ... IMHO.
Gotta be one of the dumbest posts in the history of FR.
“In short, there is nothing remotely conservative about Palin. “
Palin 2012, period.
I'm seeing that, too. We had a bit of a breather from the Ron Paul cultists, but they've come back in droves and I've noticed there are a lot of newbie Paulestinians spamming all over the place on here.
I guess they haven't read the site owner's views on Ron Paul.
“Explain to me how giving $1K is an endorsement?”
What else is it - lunch money? A bribe for him to drop out? What?
Well, just crap. Now I won’t be donated to Sarahpac.
Schlussel demonstrates her typical lack of editing. I am not a Ron Paul fan and despise his past positions on Israel. But since when has Rand Paul said anything about it? And there certainly is no basis for caling him an Israel-hater!
Right, like Obama said, he doesn’t pal around with terrorists. And he left Rev. Wright in the dust. And he has a slew of Conservatives in his cabinet cause he’s bipartisan. And everything he does is transparent too ! doh.
I agree. I like DeMint and Michele Bachmann most. I’m not sure Jindal is ready for prime time yet, and somethings that Pence has done give me pause. If memory serves me, Pence supported the RINO in the NY-23 episode, instead of Huffman.
Schlussel’s column is over the top, but Palin certainly needs to explain her support for McCain and Graham.
I had not read this latest from Sarah about Rahm. YES, that is exactly the kind of administration we have. I bet the entire country would be SHOCKED if Richard Nixon’s secret Oval Office Taping system were still in place, and we could hear behind closed doors. I think what Bill Clinton was doing on the carpet in there was less crude than these guys.
Remember, Sarah, that Obama insulted the Special Olympics on live TV already (Jay Leno). I am sure there are YouTubes of that.
And to get back to the subject of this thread, I believe Sarah was asked to give to her benefactor’s best friend. McCain and Grahamnesty are buds.
I hope and pray Sarah comes to tour the CA Southland and see the hell that illegal aliens hath wrought. Our kids can’t work ANYWHERE where kids in Alaska can get jobs. And that is only one tiny difference; there are so many more examples of illegals destroying our quality of life.
Who was going to donate you and how much are you worth?
What else is it - lunch money? A bribe for him to drop out? What?
Whatever it was, it was given months after his 2008 reelection win, to a new six year term in office.
I hardly think that she is endorsing candidates so very far into the future.
