Soccer star John Terry's role as captain of England's national team is in jeopardy following tabloid accusations of his marital infidelity, according to a British government minister.
Terry is alleged to have had an affair with the ex-partner of his former Chelsea teammate Wayne Bridge, having failed in a high court bid to prevent newspapers publishing details of his liaison with Vanessa Perroncel.

In 2001, Terry and three team-mates were fined two weeks wages in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, when the players were accused of drunkenly mocking American tourists at Heathrow. He was arrested in January 2002 after a fracas at a London nightclub in which a doorman was injured, and was later cleared of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, unlawful wounding, possessing a bottle as an offensive weapon and affray. In 2004, Terry and Bridge, together with a third player, were reported to have gambled £40,000 a week between them on horse and dog racing.

Of course, had there been a United Kingdom team, they would have been unstoppable. Imagine Georgie Best in his prime playing for the united UK team.
Yeah, in your dreams!
or Denis Law.
I thought they would shrug it off and move on.
But this way, Terry has to act happy (which is funny). And this decision will guarantee that this story will never totally die but is carried right into the WC as people question if Terry should still be captain.
By itself maybe not a devastating blow but it is now festering and anything else could happen and add to the sh*t scene they have on their hands.
Possibly the beginning of meltdown - IMO.
One other thing I find funny....
Europe was laughing at America about Clinton “because it is only about sex”.
But look at this!
LoL!!
