I keep repeating myself...
NO ONE cares what you do in your bedroom. You are free to make your choices. Just be ready to accept the consequences.

My opposition to gays in the military has nothing to do with the showers or “tight bunking situations”. I have said it before- I double-dog dare a homosexual to come on to a Ranger or Rakkasan. It will be a painful lesson, indeed.

My opposition IS and will remain the inescapable exchange of bodily fluids in a battlefield situation. I encourage everyone to consider the scenes in “Blackhawk Down”, “Saving Private Ryan” and other movies, where soldiers are up to their elbows in another soldier’s blood. THIS is a FACT. So, unless the gays are willing to have their HIV status on their dogtags- NO to gays in the military.

Even “don’t ask, don’t tell” isn’t good enough.

Personally I’m more worried about bunking, showers, and morale. HIV is a bs position to take.

I wasn't aware that you spoke for "everyone". Since we've now acknowledged that you don't speak for "everyone", how about we acknowledge that you don't speak for our military personnel?

You are free to make your choices. Just be ready to accept the consequences.

You have your settings confused: the gay bathhouses of San Francisco are NOT the same thing as the US Military.

My opposition to gays in the military has nothing to do with the showers or “tight bunking situations”.

It appears you know NOTHING about the word "morale" (emotional or mental condition with respect to cheerfulness, confidence, zeal, etc., esp. in the face of opposition, hardship, etc.: the morale of the troops).

Isn't it interesting when you remove the "e" from "morale" you come up with the word:

"moral" (of, pertaining to, or concerned with the principles or rules of right conduct or the distinction between right and wrong; ethical: moral attitudes; virtuous in sexual matters; chaste).

I double-dog dare a homosexual to come on to a Ranger or Rakkasan. It will be a painful lesson, indeed

(Oh my, 13Sisters76 didn't stick to "dog dare" etiquette and went straight for the "double dog dare").

Obviously you haven't heard about this new thing going around in our legal system, it's called "Hate Crimes". What makes you think that a hommosexual that is OVERLY PROTECTED in civil society wouldn't be afforded those same "special rights" in the military?

My opposition IS and will remain the inescapable exchange of bodily fluids in a battlefield situation.

So let me get this...ahem..."straight". You have no problem with "immoral" sexual deviants being int the military, but just don't want them out on the battlefield.

So what's the "morale" going to be like in the military when "moral" men discover that the guy that is constantly looking at his butt in the shower, very well might sneak through the process and be on the same battelfied as him?

Why not keep all homosexuals out of the military and not worry about such things?
