Hi, there are 26 installations that have been consolidated into 12 Joint Bases. 5 are already active since 31 Jan 2009 and yesterday the last 7 Joint Bases were activated. It makes sense putting them together-there really isn’t much information out there. I thought the military newspapers would be jam packed with news. A few blogs reported:

Was trying to find anything about friction that might have possibly occurred in some of the first 5 bases between the participating branches. The Army spends their money differently than the Air Force...
