I always found her music interesting and original, and a refreshing change from the usual musical cliches, and her vocal delivery, which some here describe as "emotionless," quite lovely. I had no idea what she looked like, though she sounded gorgeous. But then again, Ella Fitzgerald sounded like a sexy blonde bombshell and then you'd see this old black granny on stage wearing glasses and that was Ella -- so I was prepared for anything one time when I happened to hear that she was going to perform on one of my very rare viewings of the Johnny Carson show ...

... and Sade was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. Absolutely stunning, a lovely face and figure, with that ultra-cool unflappable confident totally poised vocal delivery -- really, a specimen of human feminity too perfect to be real! I remember getting the impression that Carson was a little bit blown away by her, maybe even a little speechless, and it would have to take quite a woman to do that to Carson.

Later I saw a music video of Sade riding horseback as part of the song, and her absolute gorgeousneous, all the way down to one of the most lovely figures imaginable, again made me shake my head in awed admiration. That her fame and beauty have not gone to her head or ego are clear -- there is a lot more than her physical beauty and musical talent to admire there. Sometimes I think God puts such people among us to remind us how barren is the indulgence of envy and how generous He can be in His blessings, not just to Sade, but to those of us who get to enjoy her like a great piece of art.

Amen. Amen.

I enjoyed her reflection on her Grandparents.

Socialist/Catholics.

I scratched my head.
Then she gave more....
When it got to sharing lovers as part of the socialist agenda her Grandparents departed that political agenda because of their Catholic faith.

Ah. Some relief in my head/chin scratching as the two cannot coincide.

(I dont know much about it all, just a faith living Catholic who believes in our founding Fathers agenda. Works for me and busy as I am not much time to ponder why others see no God or a socialist/marxist life style as the Way to Go)
