God bless him. My uncle was a B24 navigator. He survived bombing missions over Germany and lived to be 74, God rest his soul.

Thanks for posting this story! How did you come to know about Lt. Radosevich and the Lucky Penny?

The story is particularly meaningful to me. My uncle was his co-pilot aboard both aircraft: Lt. Luther E. Clark, USAAC.

Fantastic story - thank you for sharing it (though I had same problem here as others with a suddenly blurry screen). I saw this very same B-24 last year when it made its last visit to my hometown of Manchester, NH. I was standing in a parking lot early on a Saturday morning about a mile from the airport when I heard the deep roar of engines. I looked up and there she was, at no more than 1500 feet, huge, gleaming in the sun and still beautiful after all these years.
