Medina supports a sales tax. With sales tax everyone pays, not just property owners. Illegals would be paying for the schools they use.

I will support Medina if she gets the nod, but Rick Perry I think will win and will slaughter White in Nov. It is true that a sales tax would hit everyone but I think property taxes are hitting everyone as it is, if Illegals are renting the owner is paying property taxes. I would have to have it explained to me how a sales tax would work because I live in Texas right next to Shreveport I would just go over there and shop because of lower sales taxes, people stuck in the inner part of Texas couldn't do that. I think in the long run a sales tax would hurt Texas
