U.S. Senator David Vitter, R-La. has sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell protesting the policy banning the sale of Who Dat merchandise. Vitter says he intends to have Who Dat t-shirts printed and asked the NFL to "Please either drop your present ridiculous position or sue me." For the NFL and the NO Saints claim TM rights on “Who ...” (better not right or will be sued by the NFL) is BS.
This is going to get ugly.
The NFL has no trademark for “Who Dat” on apparel- but someone else does.
