Charles Augusto Jr., speaks out about defending his life and property against thugs

The 72-year-old man turned his 12-gauge shotgun on four armed bandits who tried to rob his restaurant supply store in Harlem Thursday, according to New York City police. And he is a good shot, too. He killed two and wounded the others, police said.

Most excellent, Mr. Charles Augusto Jr., for not falling to the victim mentality of so many others...

IIRC, in the NYTimes article on this event, the shotgun had lain unused
for decades.
But it worked when it was needed.
(My luck, the shotgun wouldn’t have gone off due to expired shotshells!)

NEW YORK -The two surviving members of a group of would-be stickup artists thwarted by a shotgun-wielding Harlem restaurant supply store owner have pleaded guilty to robbery. See, now in Florida, and other states, these to scum bags wouldn't be pleading to robbery they'd be on trial for murder.

Knowing that in NYC the only private citizens that are allowed to pack heat are Rosie O’Donuts and DeNiro I’d like to know how many charges have been lodged against the shop owner.
