I like the story of “Grandma Moses” - at the ripe old age of 80, she gave up her life as a farmer and began painting and painted until she died at 102.

She became a well-known folk artist and her work hangs in museums catering to folk art worldwide.

It’s never too late.

My former barber, born in 1916, regretted dropping out of high school till the day he died. It had nothing to do with money, I think he felt a certain loss of status. His mother died in the influenza pandemic of 1918, and he regretted that bitterly, I think I understand. He worked cheerfully and usefully almost till the day he died. He passed away in 1994.
