I’ve heard of a new drug they can give during the first three hours to reduce the damage from a stroke. I don’t remember what it’s called, but I hear it’s the next best thing to a miracle. From your description, it looks like you got him to the hospital pretty quick. You can probably think of something you didn’t do perfectly, if you like to kick yourself, but don’t do that. You did an excellent job.

My families life changed forever when my husband at age 50 had an ischemic stroke a little over a year ago.He was taken to the hospital within 20 minutes of the onset of symptoms,but was not given the shot.He now has trouble walking,speaking,seeing,hearing and basically everyday activities.My husband was self employed and worked for everything we have. Now we struggle to kept our simple lifestyle for our children.My point is to be aware of stroke,and know about this drug.I will pray for your friend now.
