EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings have begun their offseason sooner than they hoped.
The question now is whether Favre will be around when next season starts.
Players gathered at the practice facility on Monday for the final team meeting in the aftermath of their devastating NFC championship game loss at New Orleans the night before.
Several Vikings said the overtime defeat hurt worse the day after.

The reason they never had that many turnovers was that they hadn’t played the best in the NFC yet, period.
Maybe the vaunted Vikings D shouldn’t have given up thirty points, huh?
