And they were replaced with Cop shows because the enlightened society thought they were too violent. Idiots all!

Yes, they were..I might add “Wagon Train” to that mix. One of my early favorites. It was around before Bonanza. Pernell Roberts was my favorite guy. He was “the Man” on the show.

Now that was the ‘Golden Age’ of TV!

It was a better, simpler time.
Well, at least as I remember it...

(And in this PC age, I’ve heard that “Have Gun Will Travel” doesn’t
get aired even on cable because “it’s too violent”. Funny, I don’t
recall Richard Boone throwing as much lead as Jack Bauer!)
